Karma Wangdi Gathpa Homestay in Ura Bumthang is a family heritage homestay. The beautiful valley of Ura that nest at an elevation of 3300 meters comprise Ura Doshi, Beteng, Pangkhar and Sumthrang villages.
Various historical and sacred sites in Ura make one place that tourists are tempted to visit and leave with good memories.
People of these villages are truly relying on agricultural output specially Potatoes, buckets, sweet buckets and livestock farming. Another source of income for the communities of Ura is seasonal wild mushroom collection especially the high-price fetching mushroom species like Tricholoma matsutake (Sangay Shamu in local dialects) and Lyophyllum sp (Ngangla Shamut).
